I've been through Perrysburg, OH probably 150 times, but on this trip I actually drove through downtown and saw the dude it was named after. This is Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry, a War of 1812 Naval hero. Perrysburg is home to Fort Meigs which was built during that war. It is the largest wooden walled fortification in North America.

Is it just me, or does Mr. Perry look like he's workin' some Saturday Night Fever moves? And what's the deal with the bottom right dude making phone calls?
