I spent most of yesterday on Kelley's Island, in Lake Erie near Sandusky, OH. When I tried to come back on the same ferry though, I found hordes of people standing patiently in the dark, waiting. Turns out the circus was coming into town on the same ferries. I'm talking elephants on boats here! Unfortunately on this ferry, it was only semi-trucks that rolled onto the island, but I was amazed at the applause and excitement they brought. Apparently, not a lot goes on here!
